US President Donald Trump issued a threat to Iran, promising to wipe out the entire country if his life was in danger.

“They shouldn't do this, but I warned: if anything happens, the whole country will explode. <...> I have very clear instructions – something will happen and they will be wiped off the face of the earth,” he said, commenting on the NewsNation TV host's assertion that Iran threatens Trump.
The US leader also accused his predecessor, President Joe Biden, of not having a tough enough policy towards Tehran. “We always wonder why Biden doesn't say anything? <...> If I were here (in the White House) at that time and if they threatened someone – not even the president, but just someone – like they did to me, I would definitely give them a very strong blow,” he said.
Last week, the Chairman of Iran's Majlis (unicameral parliament), Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that Iran is ready to teach Trump an “unforgettable lesson” if he decides to attack the Islamic republic.
