Pope Leo XIV signed a decree prohibiting Catholics from marrying and having sex with more than one person. This is reported by Reuters.

The acceptance of polygamy and polygamy was discussed at two summits held at the Vatican in 2023 and 2024. Hundreds of cardinals and bishops from around the world participated. The reason for this is the prevalence of polygamy in Africa and the increasing popularity of polygamy in Western countries.
The Vatican came to the conclusion that the church's position does not require change. The Catholic Church still believes that only a man and a woman can marry and only once and for life.
“Since marriage is a union between two people with identical dignity and rights, it requires exclusivity,” the decree stated.
Previously, it was reported that the Vatican had fired Polish Bishop Grzegorz Kaszak. The reason was a scandal over an orgy involving clergy, allegedly held in his diocese.
