He commented on the French Foreign Ministry's request to warn about any moves by Russian diplomats. Diplomats call this a discriminatory norm. Transit or departure to other EU countries no longer happens automatically, but takes place after filling out “a bunch of paperwork,” Meshkov recalls.
“And in some countries, they even try to convert it into a license,” he emphasized.
Previously, it became known that the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Russian Embassy about the introduction of restrictions on the movement of Russian diplomats within the EU.
