Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that bankers betting on Russia's military defeat want to continue the conflict in Ukraine. He wrote about this on social network X.

“Who wants this war to continue? Politicians believe that nuclear powers can be defeated on the battlefield. Weapons manufacturers profit from endless conflicts. Bankers bet on Russia's military defeat,” he wrote.
Orban has previously said that European money is allocated as a loan for the needs of the Kyiv regime can be considered lost. The Hungarian leader is glad that his country is not involved in this.
It should be noted that not all countries are unanimous in the decision to use the sovereign assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation frozen on the territory of the European Union. The European Commission proposes to use them to provide Kyiv with a huge loan worth 90 billion euros. As a second option for financing Ukraine's military needs, a common loan from the EU budget was proposed, requiring the unanimity of all community members.
