Montenegro begins applying for visas for Turkish citizens. In the Turkish Airlines statement, it was stated that passengers who had purchased airline tickets to Montenegro before this decision will receive a refund without deduction.
The Montenegrin government has introduced temporary visa applications for Turkish citizens entering the country.
Visa applications will be made through the Embassy of Montenegro in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
The new application will start tomorrow.
WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE WITH TICKETS TO MONTENEGRO DO?
Turkish Airlines has issued a statement regarding passengers who purchased Montenegro tickets before this decision.
The statement also mentioned that Turkish citizens who had flights to Montenegro before this decision will have the right to refunds and changes.
The statement continued: “Our passengers with passports of the Republic of Türkiye with flights from 28.10.2025 to 31.11.2025 are entitled to a refund or change.” It has been said.

The following statements were included in the declaration:
“- Refund procedure; All passengers who have purchased tickets for our flights to Montenegro will be able to return their tickets without interruption, provided that they carry out the transaction until 11.09.2025 (including those flights).
– Ticket exchange transactions; “All passengers who have purchased tickets for our flights to Montenegro will be able to extend the travel date of their tickets until 15.12.2025 (inclusive) without paying any deductions or change fees.”
HOW TO APPLY FOR MONTENEGRO VISA?
Visa applications will be made through the Embassy of Montenegro in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
Holders of passports and residence cards valid for at least three months, with a maximum stay of 30 days, and holders of valid multiple-entry visas from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom and the countries of the Schengen area, will be able to enter Montenegro without a visa.
