A truck carrying passengers had an accident in Nigeria. It was reported that 30 people had died.
30 people died in a traffic accident in Kano state, Nigeria.
According to a statement by the Kano Government, a truck carrying passengers in the Kwanar Barde region of the province met with an accident due to the driver's negligence. 30 people died and many were injured in the accident.
Kano Governor, Abba Yusuf, described the accident as “heartbreaking” and a great loss for the state, and expressed condolences to the families of those who died. Yusuf urged drivers, especially heavy vehicles, not to drive recklessly and to strictly follow traffic rules.
