The incident occurred in the evening on Hasas District Road 6722. According to information, Şambaz Y. (63 years old), who came to Aksaray from the Netherlands, where he lived due to the division of property between them, went to see his brother Zeki Y. (74) to get money. An argument broke out between two brothers who couldn't agree on money issues and quickly turned into a fight.
YOU KILLED ME WITH A GUN SHOOT
Zeki Y., one of the two brothers fighting in the middle of the street, pulled out a knife and stabbed his brother. Shambaz Y. also pulled out a gun from his waist and fired a shot at his brother. While his brother was injured by bullets hitting many parts of his body and fell to the ground, covered in blood, surrounding residents who heard gunshots reported the situation to Emergency Switchboard 112. Upon receiving the notification, medical forces and many police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The medical team arrived at the scene within a short time and took the injured person to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. The old man was treated here, despite all possible interventions, but his life could not be saved and he died. The police team caught the brother, who escaped briefly, and detained him.
The investigation initiated by the Aksaray Chief Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident continues.
