The 15th “Laz Rally” was held in Dikkaya village in Çamlıhemşin district of Rize.

Old people and children compete fiercely on the 300m running track, while young people compete fiercely on the 1km running track.Straw bales are placed in dangerous areas of the track, where safety measures are taken to avoid possible accidents. Some competitors who had difficulty in the rainy weather tried to reach the finish line by pushing their wooden carts.Association President Halil Kosanoğlu, in his statement, said that they organized races in three different categories. Stating that the number of children participating this year is very high, Kosanoğlu said, “We need to remember the past and establish a link with the future. We ask children and the elderly to compete to establish this link.” he said.Osman Sarı, who finished first in the children's category in the competition, said he was very excited and said: “I didn't think I would come first, but I did. I got wet a lot, the rain covered my eyes. The rain did not hinder me, I competed very well.” he said. Various awards were given to the winners of the competition, with Muhammet Karaman coming in first in the youth category and Hakkı Selim coming in first in the seniors category.
