A German citizen of Iraqi nationality wanted on a red notice in Yalova has been arrested.
Yalova Provincial Gendarmerie Command received information that SG, who was wanted by Interpol with a red notice, was in Çınarcık district.
The Provincial Gendarmerie Command against Smuggling and Organized Crime and Çınarcık District Gendarmerie Command teams captured the SG during the operation at the identified address.
The suspect, who is said to be wanted by Interpol on a red notice for “drug trafficking”, was handed over to the Yalova Province Illegal Immigrant Pre-Reception and Referral Center for deportation after legal procedures.
