The car whose driver lost control slid down a hill and crashed into a children's playground in Şişli. There was no one in the park at the time of the accident, which prevented a possible disaster.
The driver lost control of the steering wheel for an unknown reason at around 17:00 on Mecidiyeköy Darcan Aralığı Street, slid downhill and entered Muhtar Şevket Katlamış Park.
After receiving the notification, police, medical and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. People around rushed to help the driver but he could not get out of the car. The driver was rescued from the accident without injury and went home after resting for a while. The fact that there were no children in the park at the time of the accident prevented a potential disaster. The car was towed out of the park. “NO ONE WAS IN THE PARK WHEN THE ACCIDENT” Neighborhood resident Abdullah Eke, who assisted the driver in driving the vehicle, said: “We were waiting here. Suddenly we heard the sound of gasoline. The car suddenly rushed into the park. We took the uncle out of the car. He was in good health. Then the police came. The uncle arrived at the house. There was a motorbike at the edge of the park. It did not hit him. There is a park here but no one was there at the time of the accident. God said protect us”.
