AK Party spokesman Ömer Çelik claimed that the SDF was encouraged by genocidal groups and said, “Our Kurdish brothers are an integral and equal part of Syria. There is no Arab-Kurdish conflict.” he said.
The Central Committee of the AK Party (MYK) convened at the AK Party Headquarters under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The meeting started at 3:21 p.m.
After a closed meeting with the press, Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik issued a statement. “We don't want chaos” regarding the protests in Iran. Speaking, Çelik made important statements regarding the agenda and foreign policy.
VIRTUAL BETTING ACTION PLAN
Çelik's statement is as follows:
“The virtual betting action plan is being discussed. Our vice president is giving a presentation.
The foreign policy agenda is busy. Israel is burning our region. Every step Netanyahu takes will bring evil. We see that Netanyahu does not hesitate to cause chaos elsewhere to cover up his own genocide.
PROTEST IN IRAN
We don't want chaos in Iran. We see that external interventions will produce worse results, especially some interventions that will occur when provoked by Israel and will lead to greater crises. Issues need to be resolved through negotiation.
VENEZUELA
We stand with the Venezuelan people. Statements targeting Latin America will cause trouble. Türkiye is always with us to ensure that the Venezuelan people have a peaceful future.
LATEST SITUATION IN SYRIA
The SDF attacks civilian settlements and public institutions. They did not comply with the March 10 agreement. SDGs must comply with the consensus. The Syrian government has taken a stance against this separatist structure. He stated that there cannot be two armed forces from one country. They did not comply with the March 10 agreement. There cannot be two armed forces in one country. There is not a single step that the SDGs approach positively. It is encouraged by genocidal groups.
The SDGs aim for a terrorism-free Türkiye process. The importance of the goal of a terrorism-free Türkiye is once again seen. We see that the security of our Kurdish brothers is threatened by the encouragement of certain groups of the SDF. Our Kurdish brothers are an integral and equal part of Syria. There is no conflict between Arabs and Kurds.
This signed agreement was placed on the agenda as a roadmap to resolve the issues. We have said many times that Syria will continue to be a single army and a single country.
It shows once again how valuable regional progress and a terrorism-free Türkiye are. We think that all our brothers in Syria should continue on their path as an integral part of Syria. The situation of the SDF cannot be considered a boon for our Kurdish brothers. From now on, the most important thing is to fully implement the March 10 agreement, achieve the necessary goals within the framework of a terrorist-free Türkiye and our regional goals, and let Syria continue life as one. What matters is the integrity of Syria.
A spokesman for a terrorist organization in Syria said that a conflict between Arabs and Kurds has broken out in Syria. If there is one focus that is trying to enable this, it is clearly the SDGs. We will be the first to stand up against our Kurdish, Alevi and Shiite brothers being viewed negatively in Syria.
