President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Türkiye experienced the golden years of women's rights during the AK Party government.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the “International Women's Local Government Summit” held in Istanbul.

Erdoğan celebrated the 91st anniversary of Turkish women being granted the right to vote and vote as well as International Women's Day. President Erdoğan said: “It is important for women to be active in city life, local government as well as social life. When women's hands touch local government, we see not only aesthetics and dedication but also success, patience, vision and determination. Because where there are women, there is peace, solidarity and harmony.” he said.

Stating that the burden on women is getting heavier, President Erdoğan said: “As before, women have to shoulder the difficulties of working life while trying to manage a family. An ideal and fair social life is only possible if women have a voice and rights. We stand with women in the fight for their rights.” he said.
