A fire broke out on the top floor of a 5-story building in the Sultangazi district of Istanbul. A foreigner fell to the ground when the drainage pipe he was clinging to broke while trying to escape and was seriously injured.
The person who fell from the 3rd floor was seriously injured due to a broken pipe and could not bear the weight. After receiving the notification, many medical, police and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was extinguished thanks to the intervention of firefighters.
The injured person was taken to the hospital by ambulance after first aid at the scene. Medical crews responded to another person living in the smoke-affected home at the scene.
The building was damaged by fire.
