This friend of ours must make it clear that he has renounced the words he said in this hall. I am not a sympathizer or lover of the PKK. If you accept this, I will return it to you. Do not continue the political agenda you are carrying out with such simple tricks. If there is any love in me, then I will love this country and people. I know and accept every individual of this nation, 86 million, as my brother, “I know that all those who want to discriminate between the people of this country as 'Turkish-Kurds' are harming this country and are doing injustice. I think that all those who divide the people of this country into 'right-left, Alevi-Sunni' are betraying the country. So, saying this to someone who has expressed his clear ideas throughout his 40 years of political life, can be said to be excessive, unfair and rude,” he said. Afterwards, the Chairman of the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, left the Planning and Budget Committee. After that, Committee Chairman Mehmet Muş adjourned the session for 10 minutes.
