
According to the meteorological agency today, which issued a yellow code warning for 5 cities, snowfall will spread to the Central and Eastern regions at the beginning of the week.
According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), rain will continue today in eastern Marmara, the Black Sea, southern Muğla and western Antalya.
Precipitation will be considered as heavy snow on the Eastern Black Sea coast. MGM announced strong winds were expected in the area; Code yellow snowfall warnings have been issued for Artvin, Giresun, Rize, Trabzon and Ardahan.
Snow is expected in Niğde, Kayseri, Yozgat, Tokat, Sivas, Gümüşhane, Erzincan, Bayburt, Erzurum, Bingöl, Muş and Bitlis, as well as Bolu and Kastamonu, where air temperatures will drop below zero on weekdays, especially at night.
