Haydar Murat Abacı, who was shot with a gun during an argument over a “bicycle theft” between two 24- and 29-year-old men who lived in the same apartment building in Ankara's Altındağ district, was killed.
An argument between neighbors in Ankara ended in bloodshed. The incident happened in the evening in the Karapürçek neighborhood. Allegedly, an argument broke out between Haydar Murat Abacı, 29, who lived in the same apartment, and FK, 24, over a stolen bicycle.
The incident escalated and turned into a fight. Abacı was seriously injured when FK opened fire with an unlicensed gun. After being notified by surrounding residents, medical teams and police were dispatched to the area. Abacı, who was taken to the hospital, died. FK fled after the incident and was arrested and detained for a short time. The suspect's police proceedings are continuing.
