In Afyonkarahisar's Sandıklı district, 45-year-old Mehmet Evirgen was found dead in the backseat of a car parked at a rest facility for five days.
People who saw a person lying motionless in a car parked at a rest facility on the Afyonkarahisar-Sandıklı highway reported it to the gendarmerie.
Authorities opened the locked car door. The gendarmerie and medical team determined that Mehmet Evirgen, 45, was dead. After the crime scene investigation teams worked, the body was taken to the Sandıklı State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
It was determined that the vehicle removed from the scene by a crane had been parked at the facility for 5 days.
