Reminding that they have carried out a draft study on what can be done to ensure deterrence regarding the regulations, Tunç said, “As the Ministry of Justice, we have carried out a draft study in accordance with the opinions of criminal law experts, practicing judges and prosecutors, taking the opinions of experts.” he said.
Stating that they have been discussing for a long time the new regulations regarding the law regarding the punishment of children aged 12-15 and the age group 15-18 according to the provisions of Article 31 of the Penal Code, Tunç said that the work of the commission continues.
“Within the framework of the committee's report, we believe that the provisions relating to the legislation must be made in accordance with the opinions that will appear.” Speaking, Tunç said: “It is necessary to eliminate the reasons why children are drawn into crime. There are many different reasons. All of these are taken into account in a comprehensive and comprehensive way.” he said.
