
According to meteorological forecasts, the rains that temporarily stopped over the weekend are gradually returning from today. While heavy snowfall is expected today in the Eastern Black Sea and the Southeast, heavy rains are expected in most parts of the country which will continue to affect until Sunday.
According to data from the General Department of Meteorology (MGM), the new week saw rain across the country. Heavy snow is expected today in the Eastern Black Sea and Southeast.
Issuing a yellow code warning for Artvin, Rize and Trabzon, MGM informed that people living in these areas should beware of negative effects such as floods, floods, landslides and traffic disruptions. The risk of avalanches continues in areas within the Eastern Black Sea Region and in heavily snow-covered slopes in Eastern Anatolia.
It is estimated that the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, northern and eastern areas of Central and Eastern Anatolia, as well as the Black Sea coast and Hatay will have intermittent showers.
According to MGM's forecast, there will be showers and snowfall across the country starting Monday. On Tuesday, heavy showers are expected in the Aegean and Antalya regions, and heavy snowfall is expected in eastern and southeastern Anatolia.
