
The budget marathon continues in Congress. Budget discussions in the General Assembly will continue uninterrupted until December 21.
Discussions on the Proposed Central Budget Law 2026 are still continuing.
Budget discussions at the General Assembly, which began on December 8, will continue into the second week according to the established schedule.
The General Assembly will proceed with budget deliberations until the completion of the daily program. Speaking time for groups and governments during the tour will be 60 minutes each.
GROUP MEETINGS WILL NOT BE HELD THIS WEEK.
No visitors will be allowed into Parliament due to ongoing meetings and group meetings of political parties will not be held.
The General Assembly's budget marathon will conclude with speeches and votes on the full budget on Sunday, December 21. The final day of budget negotiations will be chaired by the President of the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş.
The budget negotiation program for the second week is as follows:
Monday, December 15: Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance and Finance, General Directorate of Security, Gendarmerie Command, Coast Guard Command, General Directorate of Immigration Management, General Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management, Revenue Management, Turkish Statistical Institute, Privatization Administration, Capital Markets Department, Banking Supervision and Regulation Authority, Public Procurement Authority, Public Supervisory Authority, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, Private Insurance and Pensions Supervision and Administration Authority multiply.
Tuesday, December 16: Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Land Registration and Cadastre, General Directorate of Meteorology, General Directorate of Climate Change, General Directorate of Urban Transformation, General Directorate of Forestry, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Turkish Water Institute, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
Wednesday, December 17: Ministry of Labor and Social Security, President, Professional Qualifications Management Agency, General Department of National Intelligence Organization, General Secretary of the National Security Council, General Department of Communications, General Department of Religious Affairs, General Department of State Archives, General Department of National Palace Management, General Department of Defense Industry, General Department of Strategy and Budget.
On Thursday, December 18, the first 8 articles of the Proposed Central Budget Law 2026 will be voted on, and on Friday, December 19, 7 articles will be discussed and voted on.
On Saturday, December 20, the provisions of the proposed Central Government Final Accounts Law, 2024 will be voted on.
MEETING WILL BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 21
The budget marathon will end with speeches and votes on the entire budget at the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament on Sunday, December 21.
The Committee for the Study of Disability Issues and the Committee for the Study of Delinquent Children will meet separately and discuss the issues on their agenda.
