
Traffic jams again on the first day of the week in Istanbul. As of 07:40, the density had exceeded 60%.
Traffic density is increasing at many points on the D-100 (E-5) highway, TEM Highway and roads connecting both sides of the megacity.
According to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality data, traffic density across the city exceeded 60% as of 07:40.
The intensity started between Kartal and Maltepe on the D-100 highway on the Anatolian side, continuing until the entrance to the Eurasian Tunnel. On the TEM Highway, traffic concentration in Sultanbeyli continues until July 15 Martyrs Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge. FSM traffic arrives connecting Ataşehir in direction E-5.
On the European side, the D-100 highway is busy from Esenyurt to Beylikdüzü in the direction of Edirne. In the direction of Ankara, it is busy between Beylikdüzü-Küçükçekmece, Merter-Haliç Bridge, Okmeydanı July 15 Martyrs Bridge.
On the TEM Highway, the Metris-Hasdal connection in the direction of Ankara is very busy. Vehicles have difficulty moving in both directions on Basın Ekspres Road.
