
The 40th Supreme Criminal Court of Istanbul has ruled to lift judicial control measures for a number of people under house arrest within the scope of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality investigation.
Within the scope of the investigation by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), the conditions of judicial control in the form of house arrest for a total of six people, including Gözdem Ongun, wife of IBB Chairman Medya AŞ Murat Ongun, were lifted.
The 40th Supreme Criminal Court of Istanbul has ruled to lift the house arrest orders for Cem Çelik, Güngör Gürman, Mehmet Şahin, Yılmaz Doğan, Zeynep Ayten Gözdem Ongun and Hüsnü Yüksel Tunar.
The provisional decision also decided to abolish judicial control measures in the form of signature obligations imposed on many defendants.
The court ruled to continue judicial control measures regarding the travel ban imposed on certain defendants.
