The suspect, who beat and injured a police officer married to his ex-wife in Aydın, shared a photo of the police officer that he took after the accident on his social media account.
The person who used a car to hit a police officer married to his ex-wife in Aydın's Söke district and injured him has been taken into custody.
The incident happened in the morning on Yüksel Yalova Street in Yenicami district. The police officer who arrived at his house was injured when he was hit by a car coming from behind while he was unloading items from his AK. After beating the police, AA called Emergency Switchboard 112 and requested an ambulance, took photos of the injured police in the car and then drove away from the scene.
Söke District Police Department teams took action to arrest AA, who shared a photo of the injured police officer on his social media account with the caption “Traffic accident, unfortunately AK police officer was injured.” He was searched for a short time and surrendered to the AA police team.
It is known that AK, who was found to have a broken leg and injuries to many parts of his body due to the collision, is married to AA's ex-wife.
The accident was recorded by a nearby workplace security camera.
