
23 suspects arrested in an operation to crack down on gangs identified as committing crimes such as “robbery”, “drugs” and “illegal weapons” in Ankara, have been arrested.

Police teams arrested 23 suspects who were found to have committed the crimes of “qualified robbery”, “trafficking in drugs and stimulants”, “possession of drugs for personal use”, “intimidation”, “carrying and storing weapons without a license”, “trafficking in arms and ammunition”, “destroying, concealing and altering criminal evidence”, “attempting to influence judicial proceedings” and “obstructing the freedom to work and study”. practice”.
At the same time, the suspects' residences and workplaces were searched, 1,680 drug pills, 3 guns, 3 magazines, 70 bullets, bulletproof vests, 125 synthetic pharmaceuticals and detectors used in searching equipment were confiscated. The 23 suspects, who were transferred to the Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office after procedures at the police station, were arrested by the Criminal Court of Peace.
