A fire that broke out in the chimney of a workplace in Tekirdağ Çorlu was extinguished after the intervention of firefighters.
Flames spewed from the chimney instead of smoke, causing residents in the apartment building to panic. Instead of smoke, flames were seen rising from the chimney of a bagel shop at the Lalezar location on Atatürk Avenue in Şeyh Sinan District.
Following reports from surrounding residents, many firefighters as well as ambulance crews and police arrived in the area.
The chimney fire was extinguished after the intervention of firefighters from inside and outside. The Traffic Police Force and Patrol Team took security measures at the scene, removing curious people from the scene.
