Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who arrived in Kuwait for official contacts, First Lady Erdoğan went to Al Salam Palace as part of her programs in the country.
First Lady Erdoğan arrived here with Kuwait's Minister of Public Works Nora Mohammed Al Mashaan, Director of the Historical Documentation Center, Museum and Library of the Emirates Courts and Director General of the Al Salam Palace Museum Sheikha Mona Cabir Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director of the Research, Translation and Publishing Department of the Emirates Courts Historical Documentation Center Sheikh Ahmed Salah Nasser Al-Sabah and Kuwait Ambassador in Ankara. Welcomed by Afrah Al-Fadaqi, wife of Abdulaziz A. Aladwani. First Lady Erdoğan, who visited the museum area of the palace, received information about the architecture of the museum, the construction process and the reconstruction of the palace after the invasion of Iraq, and reviewed photos of important statesmen who visited the palace. After visiting the museum, First Lady Erdoğan had lunch with Nora Mohammed Al Mashaan, Sheikha Mona Cabir Al-Abdullah Al-Cabir Al-Sabah, Sheikh Ahmed Salah Nasser Al-Sabah and Afrah Al Fadaqi.

I was pleased to gain important information about the rich history of both the palace and the country.”
