A fire broke out at a 5-story hotel located in the Görükle district of Bursa's Nilüfer district for unknown reasons. The fire that originated in the hotel's basement quickly spread. People on the upper floors could not evacuate due to thick smoke covering the entire building.
After receiving the notification, firefighters reached the area and started working to control the fire and rescue trapped residents.
Medical teams took eight people affected by the smoke to Bursa Uludağ University Hospital after providing first aid. While police teams are taking security measures in the surrounding area, firefighters continue to work to control the blaze.
