
Detention orders have been issued for 19 suspects in an investigation into the public and private structures of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) in eight provinces centered on Ankara.
According to a statement by the Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office, the Terrorist Crime Investigation Department conducted a study of the operational methods used by some suspects operating in FETO's public secret structure.
Within the scope of the investigation, 19 suspects were identified, with contacts in the communication network created through the operational line, communicating sequentially with members of the organization through pay phones and prepaid lines, which were the organization's communication methods, and several people made statements regarding the organization's activities.
Detention orders were issued for 19 suspects, of whom 13 have been deported and 6 of them are still on duty, working in various public agencies and there is evidence that they are involved in organizational activities.
Simultaneous operations were carried out by teams of the Anti-Terrorism Branch of the Provincial Police Department in eight provinces, focusing on Ankara to arrest the suspects.
