Due to heavy snowfall in Bolu, 7 vehicles met with a chain accident on TEM Expressway. Two people were injured, causing traffic congestion.
The accident occurred at around 20:00 at Çaydurt location, Bolu intersection of TEM Expressway.
According to information obtained, heavy snowfall and freezing, which increased in the evening in the area, caused difficulties for motorists. The accident began when a truck lost control on a slippery road, hit a barrier, and other vehicles traveling behind were also involved.
On roads where visibility is reduced and the ground is covered with snow; 3 cars, 2 trucks, 1 passenger car and 1 pickup truck collided. 2 people were injured in the accident. According to reports from other drivers who witnessed the chain accident turning into a war zone, many medical, gendarmerie and highway teams were dispatched to the area.

Due to the accident, a long queue of vehicles formed in the Ankara direction of the TEM Expressway. Medical teams transported the injured to hospitals in the city by ambulance. The removal of vehicles continues.
