
TEI, an aerospace engine manufacturing company affiliated with TUSAŞ, signed an export contract worth about $3 billion.
President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, in a post on his social media account, reported that TEI had received orders worth $2.95 billion.
Görgün congratulated the TEI family, the engineers, technicians and colleagues at the Presidential Palace who contributed with the note: “As we leave behind 2025 with many records, the first major export success of 2026 has arrived with TEI's signature.”
He said the new orders include manufactured parts as well as maintenance and repair services for 22 different engine programs widely used in the global civil and military aviation industry.
Görgün also announced that deliveries will begin this year. Görgün said that with the orders received, TEI's total order volume will reach $8.2 billion.
