It was revealed that İbrahim Kiracı, who committed suicide after the incident, forced his children to sleep in their room, pressed a pillow to their mouth, and then shot them with a gun.
The incident happened at around 9pm yesterday in Seyhan district of Yüreğir district. İbrahim Kiracı, a textile worker living in an apartment on the second floor of a 3-story building, used a gun to shoot his daughter Derin and disabled son Doruk in the chest for unknown reasons.
The tenant then went to the landlord and told him that he had killed his child and asked him to call the police. Returning home again, İbrahim Kiracı pointed the gun he used to shoot his children in the head and opened fire.
Police and medical teams arrived at the address following the announcement and encountered the lifeless bodies of İbrahim Kiracı and his children. After examination at the scene, the bodies of the father and children were taken to the morgue of the Adana Forensic Institute.
Meanwhile, it is known that İbrahim Kiracı moved with his family from Hatay to Adana after the February 6 earthquake and that they divorced 1.5 years ago from his wife Nazan Kiracı, who is also his uncle's daughter.
HE FORCED A PILLOW INTO THEIR MOUTH AND BEAT THEM
It was revealed that İbrahim Kiracı made Derin and Doruk sleep in their room at night, and after some time, he pressed a pillow over their mouths to silence them and then opened fire. It was also said that the tenant invited his girlfriend, with whom he had a religious marriage, to live in the same house and they disagreed with his wife over this reason and divorced.
In her statement to the police, Nazan Kiracı said that her husband had previously threatened to kill her children and end her life, and she saw this as an attempt at reconciliation.
HIS lamentations were heartbreaking
After the autopsy, İbrahim Kiracı's body was taken to Hatay for burial, and his children Derin and Doruk were taken to Ali Hocalı Cemetery.
Standing in the cemetery with the support of his relatives, Nazan Kiracı tearfully said: “My son was as cold as ice, he passed away with his eyes wide open. Is this how I see my sheep? How can I endure this pain? One shot was not enough, he shot my child twice in the chest. How did he kill my child?”
They were buried next to each other
