Several arrested and non-arrested defendants and party lawyers attended the hearing held by Istanbul's 16th Supreme Criminal Court in the hall opposite the Marmara Closed Criminal Institute.
PENALTY IS ALSO FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE OFFENSIVE OF CRIME
The prosecutor consulted at the trial reiterated his views on the arguments he had presented in previous trials and requested that the children dragged into the crime be punished according to that view.
THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE
The Trial Council announced the decision to try the case with a total of 362 defendants within the scope of the file combined with the trial of 305 defendants.
The committee decided to separate the files of 34 defendants, including Barış Boyun, known to be the head of the organization, and organization managers Beratcan Gökdemir, Tolga Gültepe and Bayram Demir, because they could not be arrested.
12 ORGANIZATION MANAGERS EACH
The court sentenced Bahadır Akdağ, one of the leaders of the organization, to a total of 12 life sentences, 6 of them with aggravating circumstances, for 7 counts of “intentional murder” and 5 times for “intentional murder”, and 701 years and 9 months in prison for various crimes.
Zafer Boyun was also sentenced to 12 life sentences, including 6 more severe prison sentences for the same crime and 681 years and 4 months in prison for different crimes.
258 defendants received prison sentences ranging from 1 year to 700 years.
HEIJAN AND MUTI ARE EXCELLENT
Rap singer Doğan Tarda, nicknamed “Heijan,” and Muhammet Nedim Doğan, nicknamed “Muti,” who were tried as defendants in the case, were acquitted of the crimes they were charged with.
Şahan Terzioğlu, nicknamed “CAC” and Samet Işık, nicknamed “BIG”, were each sentenced to 4 years and 7 months in prison for the crimes of “being a member of a criminal organization” and “inciting to commit a crime”.
The jury decided to acquit 62 defendants and dismiss the case against the two defendants who died. While 37 detained defendants were released on conditions of judicial control, it was decided that 96 defendants would continue to be detained. At the same time, it was decided to arrest 15 defendants.
