A fire broke out yesterday evening in the apartment on the first floor of an 8-storey apartment building located on İpekyolu street in Tepebaşı district, Kızıltepe district of Mardin.
After receiving the notice, medical, fire and police forces were dispatched to the scene. Two people, including a child, were affected by smoke during the fire and were removed from the building by firefighters.
Two people were taken to Kızıltepe State Hospital. Although it was reported that the occupants were in good condition, the apartment became unusable after the fire was extinguished by firefighters.
While this morning, 2 people were discharged from the hospital during examination; It was determined that 4 children playing with lighters in the room alone caused the fire. The investigation continues.
