
The murderer of a 65-year-old woman, stabbed to death in the coal warehouse of an apartment building in Izmir's Gaziemir district, was identified as her son. The murderer was identified by blood stains from the clothes in the car.

Naime Z. (65 years old) and his sons Emre Z. (42 years old) and Alican Z. (36 years old), who returned from their summer home in Karaburun district, went to their home in Atıfbey district of Gaziemir district on December 13.
A while later, after Emre Z. left the house, Naime Z. went to the coal warehouse in the basement of the apartment to buy washing powder. His son, Alican Z., who was searching for Naime Z. who had not returned for a long time, found his mother motionless in a pool of blood when going down to the coal warehouse.
HE WAS KILLED BY MANY KNIFE BATTLES
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification and determined that Naime Z. had died from multiple stab wounds.
During the investigation conducted by the Homicide Bureau teams of the Public Order Department, it was established that Naime Z. lived with Alican Z. and Emre Z. lived in another building on the same street.
Both of his sons were arrested
The woman's two sons were detained on suspicion of murder and arrested by the judicial authority to which they were transferred.
600 HOURS OF CAMERA RECORDINGS TESTED
To shed light on the murder, special teams were formed within the Directorate of the Izmir Regional Criminal Police Laboratory and the Homicide Investigation Department of the Provincial Police Department, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security, Public Order Department.
In this context, a total of 600 hours of footage from 30 security cameras and 10 License Plate Recognition System (PTS) cameras were examined in detail.
The identities of those who entered and left the apartment before and after the incident were determined and their statements were taken. The digital documents of the suspects were also examined by the Cyber Crime Department teams.
Blood stains on the car closed the murder case
Through criminal analysis, it was determined that Emre Z.'s mother's blood stains were contaminated from his clothes to his car. Based on the evidence, it was revealed that Emre Z. committed the murder and that Alican Z. was not involved in the incident.
Argument broke out when he asked to borrow money.
It is known that Emre Z. asked his mother to borrow money due to financial difficulties, so an argument broke out between them.
