Two suspects were arrested in the operation carried out on charges of illegal horse slaughter and the meat being offered for sale in a warehouse in Ataşehir, Istanbul.
The Istanbul Police Department and teams of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry began looking into allegations shared on social media that illegal horse slaughter was taking place at a warehouse on Mimar Sinan Street in Yenisahra district. The investigation agency searched the warehouse according to the search warrant of the prosecutor's office and arrested EB.
