An operation was carried out in absent homes of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) in Istanbul. Four suspects were arrested.
Teams of the Anti-Terrorism Branch of the Istanbul Police Department carried out a joint study to decipher the activities of FETO under the coordination of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the General Intelligence Directorate.
Within the scope of the study, it was determined that suspects likely to be detained or arrested due to investigations against them used fake identities to prevent this situation, rented houses in the name of suspects supporting the organization, and stayed in “absent houses,” also known as “safe houses.”
IT WAS FOUND THAT THEY WERE USING BYLOCK
Although it was determined that the suspects resided in these houses in groups following the natural flow of life so as not to be exposed, it is understood that the identified suspects also used ByLock, participated in so-called terrorist organization chat activities and moved accounts at Asya Bank.
Four suspects who had previous search warrants were all arrested in a simultaneous operation.
The subjects were taken to the police station for processing.
