In Bursa's İnegöl district, a chase between police and a suspected driver ended in a field 30 kilometers away.
The incident happened at night on Ertuğrulgazi Street of Mahmudiye District. Traffic crews issued a 'stop' warning to the vehicle following reports of an armed suspect. But the driver continued on his way.
The vehicles of the following teams fled from the district center toward the countryside about 30km. The suspect had to stop because his car got stuck in mud while driving through fields in İnegöl's rural Yeniyörük district.
The suspect locked the car and fled on foot into the woods, taking advantage of the darkness to lose sight. Crews began a search operation in the area and the vehicle was towed to the parking lot.
