The Coast Guard Command in Muğla rescued 26 illegal immigrants, including 5 children, from a boat floating at sea.
Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the area following a call for help from a boat drifting due to engine failure off the coast of Bodrum.
Upon arrival in the area, teams encountered 26 people, including five children, on the boat. During the inspection, 26 people on the ship were determined to be illegal immigrants.
The 26 rescued illegal immigrants were handed over to the Provincial Immigration Department after completing procedures.
