During the operation carried out at the Port of Derince of Kocaeli, 1 ton 508 kg of skunks were seized and 5 suspects were arrested.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on his NSosyal account; He stated that a drug operation was carried out at Derince Port by the General Directorate of Security, the General Directorate of Anti-Drug Crime and the Ankara Provincial Police Department.
Announcing that 1 ton 508 kg of skunks were seized in the operation carried out at the port with the support of the anti-drug branches of the Kocaeli, Istanbul and Artvin provincial police departments, Yerlikaya said five suspects were arrested.
Minister Yerlikaya congratulated those who contributed to this operation and said: “Our whole struggle is to protect all citizens, especially our youth, from drugs, a crime against humanity. We are fighting in this struggle not only for our country but for all humanity.” he said.
