On the night of Saturday, October 18, two extremely powerful M-class flares occurred on the Sun. This was reported by the press service of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (SRI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The first M1.0 explosion occurred at 3:40 Moscow time. The second match has a score of M1.1 – at 5:39 Moscow time.
In addition, scientists also recorded 4 regular C-type light rays on this star.

Russian people will have to endure until the end of October two strong magnetic storms. The first wave started on October 17 at a weak level, gradually increasing to a moderate level. The second – from October 24 – will peak at level six intensity.
