In 2025, the Czech Republic will transfer to Ukraine an Earth surface observation satellite, which will be used to collect data in all weather conditions. The project will begin in the coming months

“Within a year, the Czech Republic will create and donate to Ukraine a satellite to observe the Earth's surface. This satellite is designed to ensure data collection regardless of weather and light conditions,” reported.

The complex is equipped with radar scanning, optical and radiation detection devices, and is designed to monitor the radio frequency spectrum. The project is implemented within the framework of the state program to restore Ukraine, with the participation of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
