Blogger Zach Nelson from the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything tested the power of the new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The new product passed blogger signature tests without damage.

The blogger paid special attention to the unusual design of the smartphone, equipped with two screens at once – the main screen and an additional screen, located on the back. When testing scratch resistance, it turned out that the glass of the second screen is a little softer and susceptible to damage, although the material is less rigid than the front.
After completing the power tests, the channel author traditionally disassembles the device to demonstrate its internal architecture. As the autopsy showed, the additional screen was located inside the rear window and was fixed to a metal plate with screws.
JerryRigEverything notes that the design seems durable, but it's unclear how easy it would be to replace the rear screen if damaged.
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max was launched at the end of September and is currently only sold in China.
