Head of the Center for Aquaculture and Coastal Biological Resources of the National Center for Marine Biological Sciences (NSMCB) named after AV Zhirmunsky, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Vladivostok, Sergei Maslennikov, passed away at the age of 62. Sergey Maslennikov is the author of many projects and scientific research on the development of methods and technological techniques for cultivating marine organisms.
In particular, last year Maslennikov and his colleagues at the Aquaculture Center created a breakthrough in the field of seafood farming, achieving new scientific results on crab reproduction for the first time in Russia.
