In May, Russian 5G satellite communication system tests were completed in Tomsk. This system is deployed on TVS-2MS aircraft, acting as a similar device. In April, the head of the Russian Federal Digital Development Ministry, Maksut Shadayev, announced that the Ministry will hold frequency auctions to connect the fifth generation network at the end of 2025.
