Following allegations that there was a rule error in the Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby, an official statement has come from the TFF.
Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu talked about the statement that the Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby will repeat and the position in the match. Hacıosmanoğlu said that there were no errors in the rules in the Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby. Speaking to A Spor, TFF President said, “There was no rule error in the Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby. It was the referee's fault.” he said.
“YOU HAVE BEEN PUNISHED ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS” Speaking about Arda Kardeşler, with whom he used harsh words on live broadcast after the Trabzonspor-Gaziantep FK match, Hacıosmanoğlu said: “I did not talk to Arda Kardeşler. My interlocutor is the President of MHK. If you participate in the TV program without permission, we have instructions. He was punished according to these instructions.”
DECLARING THERE ARE STRANGERS Hacıosmanoğlu said about foreign VAR as follows: “We have invited Aleksander Ceferin and Infantino for the two referees and the VAR director, they are here for 30 days. Face-to-face training once a month. Online training once a week, but they are always at Riva. How will you accept errors in VAR? This technology is in front of you, you look at it from every angle. Our goal is to reduce errors in VAR to zero. We have looked at domestic VAR statistics and Foreign VAR, there is no 1% difference between them. We want to broadcast live in the VAR room but the rules do not allow it.”
