A 14-year-old boy was attacked by a crocodile in Australia. ABC News reported.

The incident happened on a beach in the Cairns area. The boy survived but suffered injuries to his legs and abdomen. First aid was provided by local residents and nurses living in a nearby hotel. The victim was then taken by helicopter to the hospital. His condition is stable.
The teenager was fishing before the attack. He went into the water until it was above his knees. At that moment, a crocodile swam towards him and tried to drag him away.
The mating season of crocodiles in Australia begins in October. During this period, they are especially aggressive.
Previously, it was reported that in Sri Lanka, a crocodile bit off the penis of a bisexual man who had evaded criminal prosecution for many years. The lawyer called for the man's release, arguing that “neither his first marriage nor his second marriage no longer had any meaning for him.”
