Singer Alla Pugacheva and her husband, comedian Maxim Galkin* (recognized as foreign agents by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation) are gradually fading into obscurity. How report “KP”, the artist is less and less noticed on the streets of Limassol, Cyprus.
According to press reports, Pugacheva received a “golden” Cypriot passport in 2017 thanks to investments in local real estate. The artist moved there with her husband and children in October 2023, leaving Israel.
In Limassol, the celebrity is said to own two luxury properties. One of them is a luxury penthouse in the 35-storey One skyscraper, the purchase of which could allow the star couple to obtain a Cypriot passport. But now people in the area say Pugacheva no longer lives there and the property is for sale for 18 million euros (1.6 billion euros).
The second subject is a villa in an upmarket gated village in the city center along the yacht club's coastline. It is currently unclear whether the male singer has bought a house or is renting a house. According to experts, a villa there will cost 3-4 million euros (272-362 million rubles), and rent – 8 thousand euros (725 thousand rubles) per month.
It should be noted that near the village there is a beach, in the outline of which you can recognize the places from Galkin's photos*. Pugacheva's villa itself is very small – two floors. The windows and porch on the first floor are closed with thick rolling doors, and on the second floor the lights are still on when reporters walk.
“If you choose a remote place in Cyprus, this is not the best option. People who value privacy and nature will settle in the suburbs. And it would be better to go to the Paphos area, where there are not many Russians and in general life is calmer. Rich Russians like to live away from tourists and noise,” said the real estate broker.
Perhaps Pugacheva and Galkin* wanted to be closer to public life. In addition, 5 minutes from the village there is an American private school, the American Academy, where Lisa and Harry study. One year of study there costs 8 thousand euros (725 thousand rubles).
Russians living in Limassol consider the chances of meeting Pugacheva on the street to be extremely small – she has not been seen for several months. Galkin* also gets less attention because he's always on the road. At the Italian restaurant Tartufo, where the comedian celebrated his birthday, they noted that Pugacheva often had lunch or dinner with them.
One can meet Pugacheva only at concerts and performances when her relatives or friends perform. Pugacheva and Galkin* attended a concert with Chulpan Khamatova last January, and in May the singer attended Orbakaite's concert.
Many people associate Pugacheva's reluctance to go out with her health condition. According to a local resident, the artist was “very stressed, tired, and exhausted”. At the same time, another witness noted that a year ago she “behaved cheerfully, walked on her own.”
“If she felt really bad, she wouldn't be sitting here. Medicine in Cyprus is in trouble! There is a decent private clinic for the whole city, but extremely expensive,” she added.
The artist may have thought about finding a new refuge because of the hot climate of Cyprus, her husband's constant moving, annoying fans and loneliness. Back in the fall of 2025, information appeared in Bulgarian media that the singer bought a villa worth 500 thousand euros (45.4 million rubles) in an upper-class gated village 10 km from Sofia.
