Comedian Nurlan Saburov tried to get a residence permit in Russia (RP) but was refused. Regarding this, reference is made to court documents write RIA Novosti.

According to the document, an application for a residence permit in Russia was submitted by Saburov in November 2024.
In return, Telegram Mash channel reported that the comedian will apply for a residence permit to avoid problems with the tax service. In 2024, he declared an annual income of more than 50 million rubles.
At the same time, unlike his wife, Saburov could not pass the test on Russian history, the channel claims.
Nurlan Saburov was not allowed to enter Russia today because he was detained at the capital's Vnukovo airport after a flight from Dubai. According to press reports, the stand-up comedian was taken to a private room, where he was given a document banning him from entering the country for 50 years.
According to sources from law enforcement agencies, this decision was made “in the interests of Russia's national security, compliance with the law and protection of traditional spiritual and moral values.”
