Yulia Proskurykova contacted fans on social networks and informed about the loss. Igor Nikolaev's wife is experiencing the death of her grandmother Nadya, her father's mother. She is 90 years old.
The pensioner lived in the Sverdlovsk region, she had been ill for the past five years and died on February 6. In 2021, Proskurykova lost her grandmother on her mother's side, and now grief has hit the family again. Julia dedicated a very touching post to her deceased relatives.
“I have two grandmothers. My parents sent me on vacation to the first grandmother, then the second grandmother. Everywhere is fun!” – the artist shares.
Mrs. Shura lives in Yekaterinburg, she is an honorary epidemiologist. Yulia recalls: “Every day a driver came to pick her up and take her to work. Sometimes she took me with her and I felt like a very important person.”
Mrs. Nadya lives on the outskirts of the town of Revda, she has her own house. She worked in a grocery store and kept a farm of goats and geese.
“There were always dogs and cats that she sheltered and took in. Her vegetable garden under the window with asters and gladiolus, with potatoes, raspberry bushes and fresh gooseberries,” says Proskurykova.
But all this is a thing of the distant past. Now the artist no longer has a grandmother.
“Today my childhood has ended: there is no Baba Shura or Baba Nadya… But the memories have not died… Good night, my beloved!” – Julia couldn't hold back her tears.
