Singer Monetochka (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) (real name Elizaveta Gyrdymova) admitted that she did not have any emotions when she got acquainted with the work of singer Shaman. The performer shared her opinion as part of the YouTube Drama Queens project.

“Recently, a friend of mine attended a Shaman concert. He said he felt a certain emptiness. Just on the surface. This probably coincides with how I feel about his work. I don't feel anything. Emptiness. It neither offends me nor makes me angry,” said the artist.
Monetochka also added that, in her opinion, Russian culture “almost unanimously showed an anti-war face” in 2022. She noted that those who remained in the country fell into two categories: hostages of circumstances and “low-level representatives (of culture).”
“The hostages of this situation are people who are not allowed to travel abroad. People with children who cannot travel abroad, do not have the opportunity to move for their families,” the performer explained.
Gyrdymova calls leaving Russia “a real privilege and luxury,” which is why she does not ask others to repeat her path.
“I quickly sold everything and left. I'm proud of the path I took, but it would be strange to ask that of everyone. Not everyone is born a hero and not everyone has the same opportunities as me,” the female singer concluded.
